KLANGGESTELL

Based in Aachen, Germany, KLANGGESTELL is an electronic music project built around curiosity, experimentation and a fascination with the sounds that surround us.

Field recordings form an important part of the creative process — fragments of cities, nature, machines, spaces and fleeting moments are captured and transformed into electronic compositions. Organic textures meet synthetic structures. Noise becomes rhythm. Imperfections become character. Familiar sounds emerge in unfamiliar forms.

The music is less about fitting into a particular genre and more about exploring sound itself: layering, reshaping and discovering unexpected connections between the recorded world and electronic production.

Each release is another piece of that exploration.

Listen closer. There is music everywhere.
